home动词用法

home作动词，主要用于短语home in on sth.中。该短语主要有以下两种含义。

（1）to aim exactly at an object or place and move directly to it对准并靠近某事物或地方

例如：The but can home in on insects using a kind of radar.

蝙蝠能凭借某种雷达准确找到并飞向昆虫。

（2）to direct your efforts or attention towards a particular fault or problem将注意力集中于某一缺陷或问题

例如：He homed in on the one weak link in the argument.

他瞄准论据中的一个薄弱环节。
